Diana joined Arterra in 2017 with a love of art, sustainable practices and native plants.

Born and raised in Lima, Peru, Diana started her journey as an architecture student. During this time, she worked for architecture studios where she acquired her understanding of space and the importance of detail.

She graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with a Bachelors of Science in Landscape Architecture, where she learned the importance of creating sustainable landscapes that will benefit both nature and people. Participating in study abroad programs in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia enabled her to experience a diverse range of cities while learning about the ways in which each unique culture influences how people use space.

Before joining Arterra, she was part of the design team at San Francisco Public Works where she worked on major streetscape improvement projects.

When not in the office, Diana can be found spending time with her family and chocolate labrador or finding new places to explore.
