What is your favorite part of working in landscape architecture?
The potential to make positive contributions to the world.

What motivates you?
The smiles and looks of wonder that good designs will put on people's faces.

What inspired you to pursue a career in landscape architecture?
I've always had a deep appreciation for nature, and I've always had a good sense of space. When I learned that there was a profession that blended art, nature, space-making and beyond? I was sold — and I haven't looked back since.

What are you excited to be working on?
The geometric stone and wood forms that are located beneath elevated architecture on a project, in a space we call The Grotto.

If you could pick anyone to sit next to on a 14-hour flight, who would it be?
The Dalai Lama on one side, Robin Williams on the other...
