Nicole first came to Arterra as a freelance graphic designer and has since taken over Arterra’s branding and communications.
Nicole manages the visual and verbal communications of Arterra, from designing new portfolios, the website and marketing materials, to acting as the publicist and communications specialist. Nicole collected this broad range of skills along a slightly eclectic journey that took her through a degree in modern literature from the University of California Santa Cruz and master’s level studies in industrial design into an active and diverse freelance career. During this time, she was the creative director for an online magazine, and conceptualized and designed their international print editions, did writing and graphic design for clients ranging from traditional engineering services firms to innovative, hip tech apps. She also worked closely with an expert communications and branding consultant, a mentorship that has had an incredible influence. As Arterra’s communications specialist, Nicole brings the visionary work from this inspiring group of people to the forefront.
In her free time, Nicole is probably finding new places to explore in her city of seven years, trying to keep up with her two book clubs, or cooking up a storm for her friends.
